Driving the road on the east rim of the Ardèche canyon from St. Martin-d'Ardèche up to Vallon Pont d'Arc will provide you incredible views into one of the most impressive canyons in the southern Europe. You'll will enjoy many visiting spots along the driveway as well as caverns with daily guided tours.

Many valleys in this area are well suited to grow fruit-trees like cherries, apples, apricots, plumes etc. In springtime the flowers on the trees put layers of colored and fragrant clouds to the countryside.

The hundred thousands of years lasting erosion in the limestone mountains in the Ardèche area has created huge caverns with an uncounted number of stalagmites and stalactites of various size. These caverns are open to the public and daily guided tours let you explore this natural wonders. Approx. 10 miles west of Aiguèze on the D901/D174 you can visit the famous dripstone cave "Aven d'Orgnac".
