We co-work with a very successful, quality minded general contractor (GC), who is active in this segment whilst more than 30 years (the average "survival time" in this business in France is far less !). Our GC works with standardized processes which were continuously developed and fine tuned over the many years of activities. He stays in for expert work and adherence to all applicable legal regulations and standards for example earthquake resistance, isolation standards and electrical security.

Our services cover among other things showing you houses realized by our GC partner, translation service during the meetings with the GC, (on your demand) communication interface between you and the GC during the construction phase, (on your demand) communication interface between you and public authorities and/or public utilities like EdF, fresh water supply (Cie des eaux), Telecom and municipality authority, (on your demand) frequent documentation of the building progress etc. .
All these "on demand" services during the implementation phase must be agreed upon in writing before commencement of the construction between you and us (SOW).
 
You can select your house from our catalogue and customize it to fit your desires, your needs and last but not least your budget or as an alternative, you could bring along your own plans to check out for the feasibility. Based on this input, the GC will subsequently work out a "custom-made" bid. As soon as you agree with the proposal, the project contract documents including the documents for the submission of the request for building are compiled. The bureaucratic act of "request for building permission" is no issue for you at all; this work is completely relieved of and settled for you by the GC. The "building permit" is normally obtained approx. 6 - 12 weeks after the conclusion of the contract with the GC.

If project changes must be applied during the implementation phase, such change requests are documented by the GC with a formal bid and agreed and countersigned by the owner. Such project changes go in most cases along with extra costs. The construction phase depends upon the building volume, the season and weather conditions, and takes between 8 and 12 months. The payments are made in line with the construction progress and are defined in the project contract (milestones). Possible financing through banks in France is an option; in case you need advise, our partner would be happy to offer his assistance.
